Overview
The HDMI / DVI-D cables is omni-directional. This means it can be used to attach equipment in either direction (DVI-D source to an HDMI display or HDMI source to a DVI-D display). The new BetterCables Display Magic HDMI / DVI Cables offer the highest quality digital picture. HDCP-compliant. High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is the first industry-supported, uncompressed audio/video interface. HDMI / DVI provides an interface between any HDMI (or DVI-D)-enabled audio/video source, such as a set-top box, DVD player, and A/V receiver and an audio and/or video monitor or projector.
Technical Information
One thing you will notice that is different about our cables is their physically large size. In our experience, the digital connections benefit from LARGE conductors. Large conductors mean LESS resistance. Less resistance means less chance of digital dropouts. Wondering what could go wrong with a "lesser" digital cable? Click here to see what digital dropouts commonly called "sparkles" look like. With resistance, the lower the measurement, the better. Most of the available HDMI cables have resistance measurements of 65 to more than 105 ohms per 1000 feet. Ours are less than 26 ohms per 1000 feet. With Display Magic HDMI Cables, you get a crystal-clear picture and sound at all available lengths. Click here to see the resistance chart.
